This is our online network of resources. This area of the site is currently being developed by a collective of talented people. Please be patient while our developers work hard at getting our Resource Union up and running.

The resources will be searchable in the categories of Skills, Knowledge, Time, Labour, Tools, Materials, Land, Ideas and Transport.

Let's say you want to build and install some solar panels to generate electricity in your home. You don't know how to do this but you are willing to learn.

You start a project under the energy category in the Project Arena. First you need to learn how to build solar panels. You then go to our Resource Union and under Education you request for help, someone who can teach you the process of building the solar panels. A request is then sent to the profile page of all those offering that resource.

Those people can then join your project directly from their profile page and teach you the process.

When you think you are ready you may then move on to finding the materials and tools that you will need. All this will be available to you in our Resource Union. You go on to learn the process of installing the panels until your project is complete. Once you have reached project completion, you may then offer more resources, as you can now teach others what you have learned and the cycle continues.

If you feel you may need help along the way then you can make a request under skills for an electrical installer. We will have a local map showing all the people willing to help in your area.

Those offering that skill as a resource in your area will receive a 'help wanted' notice on their profile, where they can apply to help on your project.
